I dreamt and saw that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was duty. I served and found that duty was joy.
Rabindranath Tagore

Dear friends, we continue to serve our friends in Uganda, especially in these times of huge difficulties in a continent where the repercussions of the Corona pandemic are more than devastating. We have reactivated our Life Project in order to face the great number of emergencies.

With gratitude in the heart we wish all of you, dear friends and sponsors, the full Joy of a Holy Christmas and the same Joy for the New Year 2022.

Progetto Byelo

Byelo is a message of strength and tenderness. In the Achioli language of Northern Uganda, it means:

“Woman carrying her child on her back”.

Our main goal is to help the people we meet, respecting their culture and way of life, understanding their needs and thereby helping them to no longer feel lonely and abandoned. We try to fight dependency on welfare by promoting education and professional training. We encourage people to develop their own potential, giving them all the possible ‘tools’ to make them face their future with their own creativity and dignity, while working toward their dreams.
