Progetto Byelo
storia

Byelo is a message of strength and tenderness. In the Achioli language of Northern Uganda, it means:

“Woman carrying her child on her back”.

Our main goal is to help the people we meet, respecting their culture and way of life, understanding their needs and thereby helping them to no longer feel lonely and abandoned. We try to fight dependency on welfare by promoting education and professional training. We encourage people to develop their own potential, giving them all the possible ‘tools’ to make them face their future with their own creativity and dignity, while working toward their dreams.
